MALIBU, Calif. - Pepperdine University has introduced a new mobile experience for Waves fans with iPhones and Android devices. The official mobile application of Pepperdine Athletics offers iOS and Android users easy and instant access to up-to-the-minute news and information.
The mobile application is free to download. The application provides smartphone owners with an interface that gives them immediate mobile access to essential content from PepperdineSports.com. Fans no longer have to wait until they have access to a computer to keep up with their favorite Waves' sports.
Fans can also enhance their experience by purchasing subscriptions to watch live video broadcasts within the app. The upgrade costs $4.99 per month/$19.99 per year for iOS users and $9.99 per year for Android users. Video broadcasts are subject to the availability of online and mobile broadcast rights.
The free application includes access to the following features:
- Full GameTracker sport coverage (live stats for Pepperdine home games and some away contests).
- On-demand video features.
- Schedules and results.
