ACADEMIC AWARDS: Pepperdine track's first-ever CoSIDA Academic All-American, earning third team honors as a 2016-17 senior ... Named Pepperdine's Female Scholar-Athlete of Year in 2016-17 ... Also received CoSIDA Academic All-District first team status in 2016-17 ... Was named a Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete in 2013-14, 2015-16 and 2016-17.
CAREER: Graduated holding nine school records (three outdoor individual, three indoor individual, two outdoor relays, one indoor relay).
PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2017 (SR): Lowered her own school records in the 100, 200 and 400 ... Also part of school-record relay teams in the 4x100 and 4x400 ... Ran at all eight meets ... Posted a new record of 11.95 in the 100 at Riverside CC (3/4), though she also had wind-aided times of 11.86 and 11.88 ... Broke the 200 twice, including a 24.31 at Long Beach State (4/15) ... Set the 800, lost it to teammate Talya Holenstein, then re-broke it with a 56.35 at UC Irvine (3/18) ... Had first-place finishes in the 100 at Cal Poly (3/25) and Riverside CC (3/4) and the 200 at Riverside CC (3/4).
PEPPERDINE INDOOR TRACK 2017 (SR): Ran at the first of two meets ... Lowered her own record in the 60 with a time of 7.72, and established another one in the 400 in 56.69, both at the NAU Duals (1/13).
PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2016 (JR): Set four school records (100, 200, 400 and 4x400) ... Broke an 8-year-old record in the 100, first in 12.33 seconds (2/20 at Westmont) and later in 12.13 seconds (4/2 at UCLA) ... Broke a 7-year-old record in the 200 a total of four times, the best coming in 24.49 seconds at the Beach Invitational (4/16) ... Only ran the 400 once but broke a 5-year-old school record with a time of 57.61 seconds at UC Irvine (3/19) ... Top 100 finishes were first out of 14 at Westmont (2/2) and third out of 72 at Pomona-Pitzer (3/9) ... Top 200 finish was third out of 22 at UC Irvine (3/19) ... Helped break the 4x400 relay record four times.
PEPPERDINE INDOOR TRACK 2016 (JR): Ran at both meets during the program's inaugural season ... Established the program's top times in the 60 meters (7.82) and 200 meters (25.36), both on 1/22 at Northern Arizona.

PEPPERDINE OUTDOOR TRACK 2014 (FR): Competed at four meets ... Had the team's fastest 100 and 200 meter times of the season ... Her 25.92 in the 200 (Riverside CC, 3/8) put her at #4 on the Waves' all-time top-five list ... Her 12.70 in the 100 (UC Irvine, 3/21) put her at #5 on the school's all-time top-five list ... Was also part of the squad's fastest 4x100-meter relay team of the season ... At the Westmont three-team meet (2/22), finished second in the 100 and third in the 200.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from The Harker School, located in San Jose, Calif., in 2013 ... Ran four years of varsity track and one year of varsity cross country ... Qualified for the Central Coast Section finals all four years ... Set school records in the 100, 200, 400 and 800 meters ... Was a Wendy's High School Heisman school award winner.
CLUB: Ran with both the UMOJA Track Club and the LSI Track Club ... Set a state record and won the North American final in the 800 meters at the Hershey's Track and Field Championships in 2007 ... Took fourth place in the 800 meters at the 2005 Junior Olympics and fifth place in 2008.
PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif. ... Daughter of Maria Connell and Michael Miller ... Plans to major in psychology and business ... Spent her sophomore year studying abroad in Florence, Italy ... FAVORITES: Enjoys learning new piano pieces, walking her two dogs and listening to music ... Favorite thing about running is "the competition of each race. the drive through every practice and the grind through all the workouts, all for that one race that lasts 12 seconds."
