Track Teams in Action at UCI Spring Break Invitational
The Waves will run again next weekend at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival.

Rahaeuser (Irvine, Calif./Calvary Chapel HS), a senior, finished fifth out 29 runners in the men's 5,000 meters on Friday night.
Enalen (Temecula, Calif./Chaparral HS), a senior, nearly broke her own school record in the women's 100-meter hurdles for the second straight week. She ran a 15.85 at UCI on Saturday, just .01 off the record she set at Cal State Northridge in 2011. Last week at CSUN, she ran 15.93.
Ullery (Simi Valley, Calif./Simi Valley HS/Moorpark College), a senior, posted a personal-best time of 59.75 in the 400 meters on Saturday, which is also the best time by any Wave this season. Ullery was already #2 on the Waves' all-time top-five list in the event. Ullery was also the top Wave in the 200 meters.
Other women that were the top Pepperdine finisher in each event included senior Hayley Lytle (Huntington Beach, Calif./Huntington Beach HS) in the 5,000, freshman Kelly Smyth (Toms River, N.J./Toms River HS East) in the 3,000 steeplechase, freshman Katie Engel (Honeoye Falls, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima HS) in the 1,500, junior Tamyshia Curry (Fairview, Texas/Lovejoy HS) in the 100, freshman Rachel Rant (Boise, Idaho/Boise HS) in the 800 and senior Juliet Casillas (Los Angeles, Calif./Folsom HS) in the 400 hurdles.
The women's 4x400 team, which included Ullery, Enalen, freshman Syrii Daniel (Yucaipa, Calif./Yucaipa HS) and junior Natasha Hamlin (Arcadia, Calif./Mayfield Senior School), had a season-best time of 4:07.99.
Pepperdine will be in action again at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival next Friday (March 29).
