ACADEMIC AWARDS: WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "silver" honors in 2014-15 and 2015-16 ... Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete in 2014-15 and 2015-16.

PEPPERDINE XC 2015 (SO): Only competed at one meet ... Ran 21:13.57 in a 5k at the Aztec Invitational.

PEPPERDINE XC 2014 (FR): Ran at five meets ... Best finish on the team was fourth at the the WCC Preview Meet ... Had a season-best 6k time of 24:09.2 at the WCC Championships and a 5k of 19:53.0 at the Highlander Invitational.

PEPPERDINE TRACK 2016 (SO): Did not run at any indoor or outdoor meets.

PEPPERDINE TRACK 2015 (FR): Competed at each of the first six meets of the season ... Ran the 1,500 meters five times with a best of 5:26.72 at UC Irvine (3/21) ... Also ran the mile once.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Mission Viejo (Calif.) High School in 2014 ... Ran four years of varsity cross country and track ... In 2012, helped Mission Viejo make the CIF meet for the first time in 10 years ... Her best cross country times were 19:21 at the Dana Hills Invitational and 20:41 at the Mt. SAC Invitational ... Ran the 1,600 and 3,200 meters in track ... A scholar-athlete and on the honor roll all four years.

PERSONAL: Born in Mission Viejo, Calif. ... Daughter of Rich and Christine Atwood ... Has one sister, Sydney ... Majoring in sports medicine ... Is certified in scuba ... Chose to attend Pepperdine because "I just fell in love with everything the school was about and the positive atmosphere that I was immersed in the second I walked onto campus. Meeting Coach Radnoti and the whole team solidified the fact that Pepperdine is where I'm supposed to be."

FAVORITES: Sports heroes are Dick and Rick Hoyt ... Enjoys hiking, biking, swimming, photography, playing the ukulele and petting puppies ... Favorites include Meb Keflezighi (pro athlete), The Fault in Our Stars (book), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (movie), Ellen (TV show), Jose Gonzales and Fleet Foxes (musical artists), acai bowls and carne asada (food) and soccer (sport other than running) ... Enjoys running because "I love how running allows you to completely forget about everything going on in your life and just focus on the simple task of putting one foot in front of the other."
