Tulane '09

Tim Cullen spent two seasons (2012-13 and 2013-14) as an assistant coach with the Pepperdine cross country and track teams.

Cullen, a 2009 graduate of Tulane University, competed on the Green Wave's cross country and track and field squads. As a senior, he was team captain and also served as Tulane's student body president.

After graduating with a degree in political science, Cullen returned to Southern California, where he currently manages the Prostate Cancer Foundation's Athletes for a Cure program. Athletes for a Cure helps athletes of any skill and ability raise funds and awareness for the fight against prostate cancer.

Cullen is still a competitive runner, participating in many races around the world as part of Athletes for a Cure. He is planning a series of mud runs around the United States for prostate cancer awareness.

In high school, Cullen competed in cross country and track and field at Thousand Oaks (Calif.) High School, running for then-head coach Robert Radnoti. From 2009-12, Cullen acted as an assistant coach for both cross country and track and field at Thousand Oaks, and helped the Lancers' girls' team to a seventh-place finish at the 2011 California cross country state championships.
