Waves Notch 6-2 Win Over UCLA
Waves' pitchers allowed only four hits and the #13 Pepperdine baseball team recorded a 6-2 win over UCLA on Tuesday afternoon at Eddy D. Field Stadium in Malibu, Calif.
Pepperdine improved to 26-13 (8-3 WCC) with the win, while UCLA dropped to 22-18. The Waves moved to 18-3 at home with the victory.
The Bruins got on the board in the third inning on a Waves’ fielding error to make it a 1-0 contest, but Pepperdine responded in their half of the third on Matt Aidem’s (Valencia, Calif./UC Santa Barbara/Valencia HS) three-run homer, a shot to right field that went off the Waves’ scoreboard, to give Pepperdine a 3-1 lead.
