Darkness Halts First-Round Play at The Prestige at PGA West
Unofficially, Kevin DeHuff and Frederick Wedel are at even-par.

LA QUINTA, Calif. - Darkness prevented the Pepperdine men's golf team from finishing the first round of The Prestige at PGA West on Monday.
Unofficial results on www.golfgamebook.com show the five Waves having finished 12 through 15 holes at the par-71 Greg Norman Course at PGA West. Seven of the 15 teams in attendance were unable to finish.
It lists freshman Frederick Wedel (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands) as even-par through 14 holes, sophomore Kevin DeHuff (Coto de Caza, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic HS) as even-par through 12 holes, junior Jeremy Sanders (Chatsworth, Calif./New Community Jewish HS/Univ. of Redlands) as 1-over through 12 holes, junior Parker Page (Louisville, Ky./Ballard HS) as 4-over through 12 holes and sophomore Andrew Morris (Cape Town, South Africa/Rondebosch Boys HS) as 6-over through 15 holes.
Unofficially, the site shows the Waves as being tied for 10th place at 5-over with UC Davis, Arizona State and Oregon.
They'll be back on the course at 8 a.m. Tuesday to finish the first round, followed by the second round. The third round is on Wednesday.
