The Waves have been a regular at this event, playing there nine of the last 12 years and 11 times overall, and they won the tournament in 2007. DeHuff will be making his season debut.

His scoring average has improved by multiple strokes each year at Pepperdine ... Parker Page is the last Wave to win a tournament, as he was co-medalist at the Folino Invitational in spring 2012 ... Jeremy Sanders was a two-time Division III All-American first teamer at Redlands and had two top-five finishes at the NCAA Division III Championships before transferring to Pepperdine this fall.

ROSTER -- Pepperdine's roster saw a good deal of change in the offseason. Of Pepperdine's 10-man roster, four saw action for the Waves last season. The newcomers consist of four true freshmen, one transfer and one student-athlete who didn't compete last season. The breakdown is one senior, two juniors, three sophomores and four freshmen.

GEIBERGER -- The 2012-13 season marks John Geiberger's 17th as head coach of Pepperdine. In his first season as coach of the Waves, Geiberger, a three-year letterwinner for the Waves in the late `80s and early `90s, led the team to the 1997 NCAA national title, the first in team history. Under Geiberger's guidance, Pepperdine has won the WCC title 10 times and he has earned the league's Coach of the Year honors on five occasions.
