As a Sophomore (Fall 2006): Paired with 2006 doubles partner Richard Johnson at the Midland Invitational where the duo reached the semifinals...Also posted a first-round victory at Midland in singles before falling in the second round...Teamed up with Begemann at the ITA Regional Championships...The duo, ranked No. 15 in the ITA preseason rankings, reached the semifinals posting wins over Arizona, Arizona State and San Diego State before falling to UCLA's Jeremy Drean and Mathieu Dehaine...Altmann and Begemann received an at-large bid to the ITA Indoor Championships, but fell in the first round of doubles. As a Freshman (2005-06): Led the Waves at the No. 6 position, going 18-6...Also went undefeated at the fourth and fifth positions, going 1-0 at No. 4 and 7-0 at No. 5...Went 4-0 during the NCAA Championships, including a win at the No. 6 spot in the final match against Georgia...In doubles, compiled an 18-6 record at the No. 3 spot with Richard Johnson...The duo went 4-0 during the NCAA tournament and were named to the All-Tournament team at No. 3 doubles...Altmann was also named to the All-Tournament team for No. 6 singles, while being named to the All-WCC's second team in singles and in doubles with Johnson...Shares a single-season record at fifth place with 26 singles victories.
