PEPPERDINE CAREER: Finished his career with a 59-60 record in singles (38-46 in dual play) and 39-46 in doubles (27-30 in dual competition) … Earned Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete and WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll “bronze” honors once each … Collected WCC Doubles Team of the Week accolades once (4/26/16) with Pedro Iamachkine.

PEPPERDINE 2016-17: All-WCC second team singles … All-WCC second team doubles … WCC All-Tournament team in both singles and doubles … Tabbed WCC Doubles Pair of the Week alongside partner Jack Van Slyke on April 18 … WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll ‘bronze’ honors … Won National Collegiate Tennis Classic singles and doubles title (with Jack Van Slyke) in January … Had a 15-11 singles record in his senior year, including a 10-8 singles record in dual matches … Compiled a 19-12 doubles record, including a 15-10 dual match doubles record … Defeated the 59th ranked doubles team from Oklahoma on 3/14.

PEPPERDINE 2015-16: Earned WCC Doubles Team of the Week honors once alongside Pedro Iamachkine (4/26) … Pepperdine Scholar-Athlete … Posted an 11-17 overall singles record and went 9-12 amongst dual singles competition … Finished the season with an 8-14 doubles record, including a 6-10 dual performance … Went 5-9 overall and 3-5 in dual play with partner Tom Hill, collecting an even 3-3 record in the number three doubles position … Went 2-3 with Pedro Iamachkine, including a perfect 2-0 performance at the number two doubles position … Defeated Jeremy Bourgeois of 60th-ranked BYU in the WCC Tournament semifinal with a 6-1, 6-4 result to send the Waves to the Championship match … Reached the Jack Kramer Club Collegiate Invitational quarterfinal with partner Tom Hill, picking up an 8-5 win over Stanford’s Maciek Romanowicz and Anthony Tsodikov in the round of 16 … He and Hill helped the team secure a dual win over 26th-ranked Memphis with a 7-5 doubles-point clinching victory over Andrew Watson and Shakeel Manji … Went on to win his singles match-up with Memphis’ Chris Patzanovsky with a 6-2, 6-0 victory in the number four position.

PEPPERDINE 2014-15: Concluded sophomore season with a 15-18 overall singles record (7-16 in duals) ... Went 3-9 from the No. 1 spot in the lineup, 1-5 at No. 2 and 3-2 at No. 3 ... Defeated Gordon Watson 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5) to secure the Waves' 4-3 upset win over Florida (5/8) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... Began dual season ranked #125 ... Went a team-best 8-2 in singles in the fall ... Charted four-straight wins to take the Lenz Draw at the Princeton Invitational ... Reached the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Southwest Regional Championship ... Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "bronze" honors.

PEPPERDINE 2013-14: Appeared in 27 of the season's 30 dual matches as a freshman ... Went 18-14 overall, including a 12-10 mark in dual action ... Played mostly in the No. 4 spot in the singles lineup, producing an 8-8 record ... Moved to the No. 1 slot vs. BYU (3/29) and topped the Cougar's ace 6-4, 6-4 ... Tallied a 7-6 overall doubles record, going 1-2 in four dual season appearances ... 2-5 vs. ranked opponents ... Won four in a row to reach the consolation finals of the Battle in the Bay Classic in the fall ... Defeated #97 Nolan Paige during the consolation semifinals in straight sets ... Also topped #113 Andre Goransson 7-6 (5), 7-6 (3) on March 23 ... Went 3-2 in singles vs. WCC opponents ... Went 4-4 in doubles when playing with David Sofaer.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from University High School, located in Irvine, Calif., in 2013 ... Part of recruiting class ranked #2 in's list of Top Mid-Major Men's Classes ... Blue chip recruit according to and ranked as high as #17 by the website ... Played four seasons of varsity tennis at University High School for head coach John Kessler ... Helped capture four CIF team titles ... Four-time all-county and all-city selection ... Two-year team captain ... 2012 Grand Rapids National Open singles champion ... PERSONAL: Born in Santa Barbara, Calif. ... Son of Adele and Lee Menichella ... Both parents swam at Harvard ... Majoring in sports administration ... Chose Pepperdine because "I really liked the coaches and players as well as the beautiful campus. I'm really excited to go to a school so strong academically and to play at a top-10 tennis program."
