Waves Host UCSB, Conclude Regular Season
Pepperdine will honor 10 seniors in their final game at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool
MALIBU, Calif. – This Week: The No. 7 Pepperdine men’s water polo team hosts No. 10 UC Santa Barbara at 6 p.m. on Friday for the final game of the regular season. The Waves are currently 17-11 overall and 2-2 in Golden Coast Conference play.
Seniors: Pepperdine will be honoring the 10 seniors on the team in their final game at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool just before game time.
Game #29: Friday (Nov. 10) vs. No. 10 UC Santa Barbara (9-11, 0-4 GCC) at Raleigh Runnels Memorial Pool in Malibu, Calif. at 6:00 p.m.

Golden Coast Conference: The Waves conclude GCC play this week against UC Santa Barbara. Last year, the Waves ended the regular season in fourth place, before sweeping through the conference tournament and capturing the title.
Series vs. UC Santa Barbara: Pepperdine 61-46 - The Waves and Gauchos have met each year since 1975, with the Waves winning the last meeting earlier this year.
Rhodes: Senior goalkeeper Zack Rhodes became the first Wave in history to surpass 1,000 career saves on Oct. 14 against Long Beach State. He currently has 1,058 career saves.
Schroeder: Head coach Terry Schroeder won his 400th career game on Oct. 13 against Long Beach State. Schroeder is in his 25th year of coaching at Pepperdine. His first stint of coaching was from 1986-2005, after which he took an eight-year break to coach the United States National Team.
Last Week: The Waves lost a 2 OT thriller to UC Irvine last week, dropping them to a 17-11 record, and 2-2 in the GCC.
GCC Player of the Week: Zack Rhodes was awarded co-GCC Player of the Week for Oct. 19 after a 17-save outing against Long Beach State. Rhodes is the second Wave to win the award this year, joining Sam Paur (9/14).
