Waves Through Two Rounds at Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge
Pepperdine will finish up with the third round on Tuesday in Palos Verdes.

Grace Na and Liv Cheng shot 2-over 73s to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team during the second round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge on Monday.
The Waves took a step back in the team race, as they're now tied for 13th place at 604 (301-303) with North Carolina. The third and final round is on Tuesday at the par-71 Palos Verdes Golf Club. Pepperdine will be paired with the Tar Heels, Oklahoma State and Ohio State in a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS), a senior who is a three-time All-American and three-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year, is in position for a good finish. She's tied for 13th place with a 3-over 145 (72-73). Na recorded three birdies during the second round.
Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) moved up 15 spots on the leaderboard and into a tie for 41st place at 150 (77-73). She also had three birdies.
Junior Somin Lee (Denver, Colo./Overland HS), playing as an individual, is tied for 56th place at 153 (76-77). Sophomore Marissa Chow (Honollu, Hawaii/Iolani HS) is tied for 61st at 154 (76-78), freshman Alessandra Arza (Asuncion, Paraguay) is tied for 63rd at 155 (76-79) and junior Alina Ching (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) is tied for 79th at 159 (77-82). Chow had four birdies on Monday and Arza had three.
