Na Advances to Match Play at U.S. Public Links Championship

NESHANIC STATION, N.J. - Pepperdine junior Grace Na advanced to match play at the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship after finishing stroke play on Tuesday with a two-round total of a 1-over 145.

Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS) tied for 28th place and is one of 64 golfers that will advance to match play. As the #30 seed, she'll take on 35th-seeded Lauren Diaz-Yi on Wednesday at 11:45 ET at the par-72 Neshanic Valley Golf Course.

Na was in danger of missing the cut after an opening-round 76, but came back with a 3-under 69 in her second round to finish four strokes above the cut line. During her final 18 holes, Na had four birdies (all on par-4s) and one bogey.

Na is a two-time All-American and a two-time West Coast Conference Player of the Year. In her two seasons, Na's career stroke average of 73.98 is good for fourth all-time at Pepperdine.
