To receive the award, individuals must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least a 3.50 and compete in at least half of the team's events.
Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) received the WGCA's award for the third time. She graduated this past spring with a degree in economics. Cheng earned All-West Coast Conference honors all four seasons and also made the WCC's All-Academic first team three times. She appeared in 118 rounds over her four years, a figure that ranks 10th all-time at Pepperdine.
Arza (Asuncion, Paraguay), whose major is undeclared, took part in four of the Waves' eight regular-season tournaments as a freshman.
"I am very proud of Liv and Alessandra," Pepperdine Coach Laurie Gibbs said. "The 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement is very difficult with golf's two-semester season. Being successful in the classroom is very important to our student-athletes."
This is the 17th and 18th times that a Wave has earned WGCA All-American Scholar honors. Cheng is Pepperdine's second three-time recipient, joining Jenny Glasgow (1998-2000).
