No. 8 Pepperdine Holds Second Round Lead at Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational

Kauai, Hawaii - Junior Leanne Bowditch shot rounds of 75-69 for 4-over par 144 total to help the No. 8 ranked Pepperdine women's golf team to a first play standing after two rounds of the Aloha Purdue Collegiate Invitational that opened Wednesday at the par-70, 6,183-yard Kiahuna Golf Club in Kauai, Hawaii.

The Waves totaled a 36-hole score of 30-over par 590 and have a five-shot advantage over host Purdue(595) heading into today's final round.

UNLV (596) is third while Kent State and Tulsa (613) round out the top five in the nine-team tournament.

Bowditch is currently one shot behind UNLV's Natasha Krishna, who leads the individual standings with a 3-over par score of 143.

Pepperdine sophomore Jayvie Agojo is tied for fifth with a 7-over par score of 147 and senior All-American Eileen Vargas is tied for eighth with four other golfers at 9-over par 149.
