The Waves earned four of the five major postseason honors and eight players in all were recognized.
The Waves play their first home game on Aug. 25 against Texas Tech.
Women's soccer led all teams with 17 honorees.
Student-athletes were recognized for achieving a 3.0 grade-point average or better.
Many awards, mostly voted on by the student-athletes, were handed out Wednesday night.

A defensive midfielder who helped the Waves post school records for goals-against average (0.42, seventh nationally) and shutouts (14) ... PEPPERDINE 2016: Appeared in 18 games as a redshirt junior for the Waves, making 16 starts … Took two shots as primarily a defender … Helped anchor a Pepperdine defense that gave up just 0.68 goals per game, the 21st best total in the country, with 11 shutouts … WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll “bronze” honors ... PEPPERDINE 2014: Named to the NSCAA All-West Region second team and All-WCC second team as a sophomore ... Started all 23 games for the Waves ... Scored two goals and posted two assists for a total of six points on the year ... As a defensive midfielder, helped anchor a Waves defense that gave up just 16 goals all year, and led the conference with 11 shutouts and a 0.67 goals against average ... Had a career-best three-point game in the season opener against Cal Poly (8/22) scoring the game-winner and assisting on another ... ODP: Spent two seasons competing for the Cal South 95 Girls team under the guidance of head coach Michelle Myers ... Cal South 95 won the 2012 US Youth Soccer ODP Championship and the 2012 US Youth Soccer ODP Region IV Championship.
CLUB: Competed for PQ, Del Mar Sharks and CSC before spending last five seasons with the San Diego Surf under head coach Ada Greenwood ... Surf took multiple titles, including the 2009 Farwest Region IV Championship, the 2009 Surf Thanksgiving Cup, the 2011 SoCal National Cup, 2010 & 2011 Surf College Cup Champions ... The Surf posted runner-up showings in the Surf Cup in 2011 and 2012 ... Participated in the 2012 The Chance U.S. Finals (Ore.) ... Named to the 2013 U18 ECNL San Diego All-Event Team.
