The annual ceremony was held Sunday night in Elkins Auditorium.
The Waves play their first home game on Aug. 25 against Texas Tech.
The Waves open the NCAA Tournament at home on Saturday against California.
Student-athletes were recognized for achieving a 3.0 grade-point average or better.
The Waves have not allowed a goal in 275:17 minutes of play to start the season.

PEPPERDINE 2016: Started all 21 games for the Waves as a sophomore … Earned All-WCC honorable mention … Posted one assist on the year against Kansas (9/18) … Played primarily as an outside defender, helping to anchor a Pepperdine defense that gave up just 0.68 goals per game, the 21st best total in the country, and matched a school record with 11 shutouts … Took seven shots, putting two on target … Played 1,961 minutes.
PEPPERDINE 2015: Appeared in all 19 games, making 10 starts as a freshman for the Waves … Posted one goal and one assist, finishing tied for fifth on the team with three total points … Took 20 shots, putting seven on target … Played 1,014 total minutes … Earned WCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll bronze honors and was named a Pepperdine Scholar Athlete.
CLUB: Played four seasons for the Central Valley Arsenal and six seasons with MVLA Mercury Black … selected to the Cal-North Team, Region IV ODP Camp at the University of Idaho (July 2010) … Represented Cal-North State ODP Team at Nike Friendship Cup (May 2010) … Selected to the 2009/10 97G Cal-North State ODP Team and to the 2009 97G District II ODP Team … During her six seasons with Mercury Black her team won numerous titles including a 2014-15 ECNL League championship, Surf Cup Super Group Championship (2014) and USYSA Region IV championship … Was selected to participate in the Puma Women’s Elite Showcase (Boyd’s, Maryland 2012), and as one of the top forwards at the club National Championships in 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played two varsity seasons at The King’s Academy … Scored a total of 36 goals during her prep career … Led the Knight’s in scoring during their 2012-13 Central Coast Section Championship season … Named All-West Bay Athletic League first team as a sophomore and All-WBAL honorable mention as a freshman … Did not play her junior or senior seasons … Graduated as a member of the California Scholarship Federation as well as with high honors.
PERSONAL: Born in Los Gatos, Calif. to Joe and Anita Maemone … Has two siblings; David and Jessica … Majoring in public relations … Chose Pepperdine because, “My dream was to play Division I soccer, at an academically strong school, where I would be immersed in a community that would encourage me to grow deeper in my faith. That is exactly what I found at Pepperdine! I fell in love with the coaching staff! They are amazing and genuine individuals with a philosophy that is true to who they are and what they believe in.
