Anna Picarelli begins her fourth season at Pepperdine...One of six seniors on the Waves' roster...One of four goalkeepers on the Pepperdine roster...Has developed into one of the top goalkeepers in the country...Ranks No. 1 on Pepperdine's all-time list with a 0.72 goals-against average and 24 shutouts...Took over the starting goalkeeper job midway through the 2002 season...An excellent athlete with quick instincts...Enjoyed a decorated and successful high school and club career...Part of a recruiting class that was ranked No. 15 in the West Region by Soccer Buzz.

2004: Named second team All-West Coast Conference (WCC)...Started all 19 matches and led the WCC with a school-record 0.61 goals-against average...Totaled 10 shutouts...Play in the net helped the Waves open the season with a school-record six consecutive shutouts...Tallied 77 saves and allowed a school-record low 12 goals.

2003: Started all 21 matches and set a Pepperdine single-season record with 10.5 shutouts...Had a 0.87 goals-against average which ranks No. 5 on the school's all-time single-season list...Ranked second in the West Coast Conference (WCC) with 10.5 shutouts...Set a Waves' record with 98 saves...Was in goal for the entire contest in 10 of Pepperdine's school-record 11 shutouts...Shared a shutout with Loretta Younkin in a 7-0 victory at San Jose State.

2002: Received honorable mention All-West Coast Conference (WCC) after registering a 6-0-0 record, 0.50 goals-against average and three shutouts in conference play...Finished the year with an 8-1-0 record, 0.66 goals-against average and 4.5 shutouts in 12 matches...Made collegiate debut in the second half versus Long Beach State...Shared a shutout with Teresa Montano after playing the second half versus George Mason...Took over the starting goalkeeper job at Gonzaga and earned first career win after blanking the Bulldogs 2-0...Followed that performance with an impressive showing at eventual national champion Portland as she shutout the Pilots, 2-0...Earned third straight shutout after recording four saves in a 1-0 victory versus Santa Clara...Tabbed the WCC's "Player of the Month" for October after posting a 4-0-0 record, registering a 0.22 goals-against average and recording three shutouts...Had five saves in a 2-0 victory over Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the first round of the NCAA Championships.
