CAREER: Concluded strong career in 2012 ... A four-year starter played in 67 games and started 57 ... Recorded two goals and three assists for seven points ... Fired 44 shots.

PEPPERDINE 2012: Started 20 matches for Pepperdine in final collegiate season ... Recorded second career goal and first game-winner against San Diego (8/17) in the 2012 season opener ... Notched an assist at San Diego (10/21) ... Attempted 11 shots, five of them on goal ... Fired a season-high three shots in 1-0 overtime victory at Dartmouth (10/1) ... A second team All-District 8 Academic Team member and captured first team WCC All-Academic accolades ... Named 2012-13 WCC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

PEPPERDINE 2011: Started all 21 games for the Waves during her junior campaign as a central defensive midfielder ... Added one assist in a 4-0 victory over San Francisco (9/4) ... Attempted 21 shots ... Named an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar, made the WCC All-Academic honorable mention team and earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "silver" honors.

PEPPERDINE 2010: Took over a starting midfielder position as a sophomore, appearing in all 20 matches and starting 14 ... Had one goal and one assist for three points ... Attempted 21 shots ... Scored her goal in a win against Detroit (9/5) and provided the game-tying assist in a 1-1 draw at CSU Bakersfield (10/3) ... Named to the all-tournament team at the Hawaii Outrigger Hotels Soccer Classic ... PEPPERDINE 2009: Appeared in six matches at midfield as a freshman, earning two starts and totaling 261 minutes of playing time ... Fired off four shots ... Made her collegiate debut at Long Beach State (9/18) ... Played in five of seven matches against WCC opponents ... Earned WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll "gold" honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated with honors from Clear Lake High School, located in Houston, Texas, in 2009 ... A midfielder who was a three-year varsity letterwinner ... Helped lead team to a 5A Region III title and an appearance in the state finals during her senior year ... Named to the 5A all-state second team... Played ODP soccer for the South Texas 90 state team from 2003-07 and was part of the 2005 regional pool ... Made a trip to Europe with the Region III 90 team in 2008.

PERSONAL: Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil ... Daughter of Marcos and Francisca Pontes ... Majoring in sports medicine and plans to become a surgeon ... Chose to attend Pepperdine because "of the great school, awesome coaches and amazing location."

FAVORITES: Hobbies include painting, drawing, shopping and swimming ... Lists Ronaldinho as her biggest sports hero ... Favorites include Andres Iniesta (pro soccer player), Barcelona (pro soccer team), The Kite Runner (book), Remember The Titans (movie), So You Think You Can Dance (TV show), John Mayer (musical artist), Brazilian food (food) and volleyball (sport other than soccer) ... Favorite thing about soccer is "the team aspect, that I get to play with best friends who share my passion for the sport."
