MALIBU, Calif. - Senior defender Michelle Pao became the first Pepperdine women's soccer player ever to receive four-time All-West Coast Conference first team status today, while junior forward Lynn Williams joined her as a repeat honoree on the first team.

A total of four Waves earned some sort of award as the WCC released its postseason honors on Tuesday. Junior midfielder/forward Ally Holtz was named to the All-WCC second team, while defender Meagan Harbison was picked to the WCC's All-Freshman team.

Pao (Cupertino, Calif./Monta Vista HS) was fourth on the team with seven points (two goals and three assists) while largely playing defender. She scored the game-winning goal at San Diego. In addition to being a four-time All-WCC first teamer, Pao is a 2011 NSCAA All-American second team and was an NSCAA All-West Region selection in both 2011 and 2012.

Williams (Fresno, Calif./Bullard HS) was the WCC's leading scorer and had a strong shot at WCC Player of the Year honors before suffering an arm injury that knocked her out of the season's final four games. She wound up fourth in the conference with 11 goals and 25 points. Five of her goals were game-winners. Williams was named to the All-WCC first team in 2012 and second team in 2011. She was also the WCC's Freshman of the Year in 2011.

This is the third straight season that the Waves have put multiple players on the All-WCC first team.

Holtz (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) picked up the slack in Williams' absence and finished the year with six goals and 16 points, both of which were second on the team, along with a team-best four assists. She was also named to the WCC All-Academic first team last week. This is Holtz' first time being named to an All-WCC team.

Harbison (Rancho Penasquitos, Calif./Westview HS) was one of six freshmen that was a regular in the starting lineup. She played in all 19 games, starting 14, and collected two assists.

Pepperdine ended the 2013 campaign with a 10-7-2 overall record (the third year in a row with at least 10 wins and 14th time in the program's 21-year history) and in a tie for fourth place in the WCC at 5-4.
