Pepperdine continues action in Hermosa Beach tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Pepperdine looks to end regular season strong, and earn the automatic bid for the AVCA National Championship.
Pepperdine concludes the home portion of the inaugural sand volleyball season with a perfect 2-0 record, and a pairs championship title.
First and only home events of the season are scheduled for this Thursday and Saturday at Zuma Beach.
CAREER: Through three seasons, has played in 31 matches and 57 sets ... Averaging 0.65 digs.
SAND 2012: Saw action in six matches, all while playing with Emily Cook ... Went 4-2 overall ... Posted a 3-1 record in duals and 1-1 in tournament play ... Played all dual matches from the No. 5 spot in the lineup ... Set a program record on April 14 for fewest points allowed in a match with a 21-1, 21-11 win over Loyola Marymount's Diana Hiromoto and Ellie Selleck ... Posted 16 kills versus Kati Duddridge and Megan Thornberry of USC on April 7 ... Picked up 20 digs against the Trojan's Kendall Bateman and Eve Ettinger on the same day ... Tallied five service aces on March 24 against Catey Warren and Emily Neideffer from the College of Charleston.
INDOOR 2011: Made first career start in season opening match at Texas (8/26) ... Tallied five digs in that contest ... Took on the role of defensive specialist during the first two matches of the season in the absence of Stevi Robinson ... Provided defensive and serving support off the bench the remainder of the year ... Picked up a career-high eight digs vs. Florida State (9/19) ... Totaled 18 digs in 2011 ... Played in 14 matches and 25 sets.
INDOOR 2010: Appeared in eight matches and 14 sets, primarily as a defensive specialist and server ... Had a season-best three digs at New Mexico (8/27) ... Dropped two service aces vs. Tulane (8/28) in addition to recording a pair of digs ... During spring 2011, tied for ninth place in the "gold" bracket of the USA Volleyball Collegiate Challenge, a sand event, with Kelley Larsen.
INDOOR 2009: Saw action in nine matches and 18 sets as a freshman at defensive specialist ... Averaged 0.78 digs ... Had a season-high five digs vs. Santa Clara (10/24) and three apiece vs. UCLA (9/16) and vs. Saint Mary's (10/1) ... Part of a freshman class ranked #12 by prepvolleyball.com ... During spring 2010, took first place in the "bronze" bracket of the USA Volleyball Collegiate Challenge, a sand event, with Victoria Adelhelm.
CLUB: Played for Vision Volleyball Club 12-18s ... Qualified for the Open 18s, and won in Colorado with the 16s and 17s and in Reno with the 17s.
